Step into a sanctuary of solace and supplication. Join us in a heartfelt journey of adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication, as we lift our voices in praise to the Magnificent Majesty above. This week, our prayer supplication focuses on crucial themes: High Stakes Testing, supporting teachers and students as they navigate challenges that arose over the break, and establishing effective procedures for classroom management and safety. Together, we surrender our burdens, offering prayers of gratitude for our students, colleagues, and the challenges ahead, trusting in His unfailing grace to guide us through. With each petition and proclamation, let us embrace the power of prayer to illuminate our path and fortify our spirits.

Prayer Call: Teachers Pray For High-Stakes Testing & Post-Break Challenges
Welcome, teachers and educators, to the Teachers Who Pray Prayercast. We have educators from different parts of the country gathered together to seek God and to pray for you. Their prayers follow the ACTS Prayer model, which is an acronym for Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. This prayer model helps to focus our hearts on who God is and what he has done before we turn our hearts to asking him for his continued work.
You may want to try this model yourself to open up your conversation with God to help you feel more comfortable talking with God freely and also resting in silence with Him as you read and pray along with our sisters. May the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

We’re glad you are here, and we’ll begin with our prayer of adoration.
Prayer Of Adoration
Lord, we kneel before your throne in sweet adoration. Hallelujah. Praise your name, God. You are worthy of our praise. Lord, we adore you and honor you. You are the magnificent, majestic, and mighty God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Our spirits cry holy. You are most holy. We love you, Lord, for your mercy never fails us.
All of our days, we’ve been held in your hands. From the moment that we wake up until we lay down our heads, we will sing of the goodness of God. All of our lives, you have been faithful. All of our lives, you have been good. With every breath that we are able, we sing of the goodness of God. We love your voice. You have led us through the fire. In the darkest night, you are close like no other. We’ve known you as Father. We’ve known you as a friend. We have lived in the goodness of God. Lord, we are grateful that your goodness is running after us. With our lives laid down, we surrender. We give you everything.
Calm, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord, our maker. Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his footstool. Holy is He. Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his mighty deeds. Praise him according to his excellent greatness. Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power. You created all things. By your will, they existed and were created.
The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in the green pasture. He leads me beside still water. He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows.
I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them saying, “To him, who sits on the throne and to the lamb, the blessing, honor and glory and my forever and ever.” I will sing of your strength. I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. You have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress, for there is one God, and there is one mediator between God, men, and Christ Jesus.

Serve the Lord with gladness. Come into his presence with singing. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his. We are his people and the sheep of his pastor. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him. Bless his name, for the Lord is good. His steadfast love endures forever, and so does his faithfulness to all generations. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Prayer of confession. Words from Psalm 51, “Have mercy on us. According to your unfailing love, according to your great compassion, blot out our transgressions. Wash away all our iniquity and cleanse us from our sins. For we know our transgressions and our sin is always before us against you, and you only have we sinned and done what is evil in your sight so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge.”
We were sinful at birth, sinful from the time our mothers conceived us. You desire truth in the inner parts. You teach us wisdom in the inmost place. Cleanse us, oh Lord, with his up, and we will be clean. Wash us, and we will be wider than snow. Let us hear joy and gladness. Let the bones you have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from our sins and blot out all our iniquities. Create in us a pure heart, oh God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Do not, oh God, cast us from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of your salvation and grant us a willing spirit to sustain us.
Lord Jesus, help us to examine ourselves and all that we are learning from you and your word so that we may truly say with conviction that we know in whom we have believed and that we are walking in the path on which you have placed us. Lord, we confess to having critical and judgmental thoughts about others at our schools, in our families, in our communities, and even about people we don’t even know, Lord God. Help us, Lord, from having a spirit of control or pretending to hold others accountable to you when the beam in our eye is greater than the speck that it is in our brother’s eye. Keep us humble, oh God, before you’re throne of grace.
Thank you to our Christian friends, our brothers, and sisters at our schools and in our families. Thank you, Lord, for surrounding us. Keep us walking close to you in the days ahead, Lord God. We don’t know what is to come, Lord, but we know that you are with us, and you hold all things in your hands, Lord God. Thank you for hearing our confession tonight and for making atonement for our sins by your death and resurrection. To you be all glory, Lord Jesus. To you, the Christ, we pray. Amen.
We don't know what is to come. But we know that You are with us and You hold all things in your hands. Click To TweetPrayer Of Thanksgiving
Prayer of thanksgiving. Dear heavenly Father, we come to you to give you thanks. We give thanks and shout with joy to you, Lord, along with all the earth. We worship you, Lord, with gladness and come before you with singing and joy. We acknowledge that you are Lord. You are our God. You made us, and we are yours. We are your people, the sheep of your pastor. We enter your gates with thanksgiving. We go into your courts with praise. We give thanks to you and praise your name.
For you, Oh Lord, our good. Your unfailing love continues forever, and your faithfulness continues to each generation. Lord, we thank you for each of our students. We thank you for placing them in our classrooms and our lives. Lord, we thank you that we can pray for our students. We thank you that we can teach our students, and we thank you that you know and love each and every one of them.
Lord, we thank you for our school buildings. We thank you for the surrounding neighborhoods. We thank you that you have strategically placed us where we teach. We thank you for our colleagues. We thank you for the relationships that we are developing with coworkers and fellow educators who have become and are becoming our friends. We thank you that you allow us to pray for our colleagues, and we thank you that we can work alongside them and that you know and love each and every one of them.
Lord, we thank you for our supervisors, department heads, coaches, and administrators. We thank You for handpicking them as the people who have authority in our lives. We thank you for encouraging us to pray, intercede, and give thanks on behalf of those whom you have placed in authority over us. We thank you that you know and love our supervisors and that you want all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. We thank you for sending your son as our mediator between you and mankind. We thank you that he gave himself as a ransom for us all. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
Prayer Of Supplication
Prayer of supplication. Father God, become bold with you with this prayer supplication. We know that when we leave things in your hands, believe and do not doubt you are working on our behalf. As we place these things in your hands, we eagerly and faithfully look for the answered prayers. There is nothing too big or too hard for you, Father. We thank you in advance for all of these things being done right now.
Father God, we thank you for covering high-stakes testing. We thank you in advance for covering teachers, students, proctors, admin, parents, and districts. We thank you for binding anxiety and disease about testing that prohibits students from doing their best. We thank you for binding any dishonesty that is happening in these test centers. We thank you for your favorable test scores. We pray that no teacher or student will let negative test scores find them, but we have said thank you in advance for the improvement that is necessary for this testing.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we bind equipment failure, loss of information of what has been learned, and all other attacks of the enemy. I thank you, Father God, for the best scores so far and for increasingly better test scores in the mighty name of Jesus. I thank you for the improvement that will be shown through these test scores right now in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father God, I thank you for covering us and our students. I thank you to those who returned safely after the break. I pray that you are covering those with issues seen and unseen. Thank you for renewing the minds of those who have dealt with issues in the days leading up to break, during, and even coming off of this break in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you in advance for covering these individuals and groups in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father God, your worth is that you are closer to being broken-hearted, and you save those who are crushing spirits. We know that this is true because you are true, and your word is true. We thank you for your peace, which surpasses all understanding. We thank you for restoring people and giving back what the enemy has stolen from them. We thank you for your joy, which surpasses even the grima circumstances. We thank you for your patience as you work things out. We thank you for doing so in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we lift up teachers as we go back to school. We pray that if there are new procedures that you want us to implement, we trust you and are led by your voice. We thank you for helping us to stand firm and not grow weary in teaching, modeling, and standing on these procedures.
I pray for peace that as we receive new students and welcome back the other students, we do not lose sight of the fact that you are with us in this. We thank you for giving us the strength to do this assignment, to hear an answer, and to be obedient to the callings that you have placed on our lives. I thank you for helping us explain the procedures in a way that the students will understand. I said my faith for better behavior going forward in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
